I'm afraid I feel at a poi...Thank you everyone. I'm afraid I feel at a point where I don't want to change my diet any more than I have. Unfortunately for me this illness means that I have a high food sensitivity. I don't know what could tip me over if I suddenly rearrange my diet yet again.

I'm mostly always covered in hives and feel sick every time I drink or eat - plus eating in general feels like swallowing swords :(.

I have always thought this was 'normal' but through speaking to others I know it's not. It's obviously not 'normal' as it's part of this horrible illness.

Yes I do need a new FIXED bed! But no word on that, either. I'm in so much pain from sleeping on the sofa :(Carahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02179779675327042949noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1070628726970921460.post-64178955570882378432011-04-27T21:50:04.496+01:002011-04-27T21:50:04.496+01:00Oh sweetheart I wish I could be your Fairy Godmoth...Oh sweetheart I wish I could be your Fairy Godmother & wave away your symptoms.I can relate as there was a time I just felt I couldn't cope with feeling so ill anymore.I am so grateful for modern medication as my illness is what caused the death of at least three of my ancestors. All I need do is have a painful injection every three months & my symptoms are controlled.I now feel better than I have in years.
I think if you could sleep you would cope with the limitations more.I know my life is much nicer when I sleep at least six hours than if I don't.
I think people are more aware of your situation than you think.
I think it's time to get back to your Doc for further investigations-they may say M.E.but they have not investigated other avenues which they should have. You also need more practical help even a new bed would make a huge difference.
Auntie JeannetteAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1070628726970921460.post-51525668773706419312011-04-18T21:16:12.625+01:002011-04-18T21:16:12.625+01:00Oh Cara, I wish I had awesome answers for you. All...Oh Cara, I wish I had awesome answers for you. All I can relate is that I felt like I was falling apart when I first showed visible signs of my Thyroid Disease. It's brought a lot of things to my life including Celiac Disease and Amenorrhea that are just part of my life now. The only way I was able to get through the horrible side effects/symptoms was through changing my diet completely. I know you already eat really healthy but perhaps there's something you've developed an allergy to that you don't know about. That's all I could guess with my experience. Perhaps going Macrobiotic for a while might at least help your flare up of symptoms. Insomnia is such a horrible thing and I can't wish it on anyone. I hope that quality sleep and restfulness will find you soon. You'll be in my prayers.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
